During the initial stage of the new vehicle running-in, the forklift should not carry too heavy cargo. During the 100 hours of the new vehicle running-in stage, the forklift should be operated according to the following requirements:
1. Before operation, the forklift should be preheated, no matter what season it is.
2. Carefully and thoroughly perform pre-inspection and maintenance in accordance with regulations.
3. Avoid emergency braking and emergency steering, and start slowly.
4. Oil change and lubrication should be earlier than the specified time.
5. Do not run the engine at high speed without external load.
The efficient operation of the diesel forklift is inseparable from good lubrication, and various special lubricants play a vital role. Types of special oils for forklifts:
1. Chain spray
Mainly used for cleaning and lubrication of gantry chains
2. Brake fluid
Mainly used in the brake system, the main oil for hydraulic brakes
3. Antifreeze
Mainly used in the engine cooling system to prevent the engine from not operating normally in winter
4. Engine oil
Mainly used for engine lubrication to ensure efficient operation of the engine
5. Heavy-duty grease
Mainly used for lubrication of vehicle bearing components, also known as: butter
6. Transmission oil
Mainly used for automatic transmission
7. Gear oil
Mainly used for drive axles and gearboxes
8. Hydraulic oil
Mainly used for hydraulic systems, including lifting hydraulic systems and tilting hydraulic systems
Characteristics and working environment of diesel forklifts:
Counterbalanced diesel forklifts are relatively large in size and have stable performance. They are suitable for heavy loads and have no restrictions on the use time. They are generally used outdoors. Compared with gasoline engines, diesel engines have better power performance and are prone to stalling at very low speeds. The cost of fuel is very low, but the vibration is very large, the noise is also very large, the displacement is large, the weight is heavy, and the price is high. Counterbalanced gasoline forklifts are relatively large in size, but have better stability and performance. They are suitable for heavy loads and have no restrictions on the use time. They are generally used outdoors. Gasoline engines are small in size, light in weight, have high power output, emit very little noise and vibration, and are cheap, but gasoline engines have poor overload capacity and long-term working capacity, and their fuel costs are very high.
A counterbalanced liquefied petroleum gas forklift is a counterbalanced gasoline forklift that is equipped with liquefied petroleum and liquefied gas for switching. The biggest advantage of LPG forklifts is that they have very good exhaust emissions, with less carbon monoxide emissions than gasoline engines, and very low fuel costs, making them suitable for indoor work that requires a very high ambient working environment.
